North West

North West
Grizedale Forest, Lake District
The perfect place for family adventures. Grizedale Forest can be explored on foot, two wheels or pram wheels to make the most of the forest trails, unique sculptures and stunning views.
St Anne’s Beach, Lytham
If the sun’s shining, why not pay a visit to St Anne’s Beach in Lytham. With three miles of sand and dunes to enjoy, it’s the perfect place for a fish and chips picnic and stroll on the promenade to soak up the sea air.
Take in the wonders of Chester Zoo with the whole family, which has over 20,000 animals in 128 acres of zoological gardens. With a completely pram-friendly set up – and buggy hire also available – it’s the perfect day out for little zookeepers in the making.
Midlands
Although prams can’t be taken into the main rooms of Warwick Castle, the grounds are all pushchair-friendly if you’re strolling with youngsters and there’s lots to see and do.
For the ultimate woodland adventure, visit Cannock Chase Forest, complete with a children’s play area, Gruffalo sculpture park and Zog activity trail. For older children, there’s horse riding, Go Ape, bike riding and much more.
Walsall Arboretum, Walsall
If you’re looking for an excursion that won’t break the bank, a trip to your local park can be upgraded with a picnic, games and ice cream! Victorian park Walsall Arboretum is perfect for family activities and naptime strolls around the lake – plus, there’s a play area, splash pad and skate park to keep older kids happy too.
South East
Head to Brighton and visit the world’s oldest aquarium for an underwater adventure. With so much to see and do, it’s a great way to keep the kids entertained on days when the weather isn’t on your side.
Enchanted Fairy and Elf Walk, Essex
For a family day out filled with magic, why not wander through Audley End’s Enchanted Fairy and Elf Trail? Look out for fairies, fairy homes and an enchanted wishing tree – but beware of Gormley the troll!

South West
Stroll through four miles of sub-tropical paradise at Trebah Garden, complete with exotic plants, a unique outdoor theatre and its own private beach. It’s the perfect escape for family time, with dedicated space for little ones and four-legged friends too. Plus, children under five can visit free of charge.
With a farm shop, animal barn and play park, Occombe Farm provides fun for all ages. Pet the farm animals, taste local produce, explore the paddock trail, then finish your adventure in the farm’s café offering homemade food and local ingredients.
