Tell us about the Geneva nursery furniture collection
The Geneva nursery furniture collection is soothing and Scandi-inspired. With three high-quality pieces of nursery furniture in the collection, Geneva will grow with your little one from their very first night at home through to their toddler years.
The cot bed’s versatile design features three adjustable mattress heights, which can be lowered gradually throughout your child’s development. As they get older, the cot’s railings can be easily removed to leave behind a comfortable and secure toddler bed, suitable up to 4 years old. In the base of the cot to toddler bed is a spacious drawer, perfect for extra storage in smaller nurseries.
To keep your nursery organised, discover the full-size Geneva dresser and wardrobe. The dresser features three deep drawers for all of your baby’s clothing, nappies and essentials, with an integrated changer top for nappy and outfit changes – which also doubles up as extra storage space when no longer in use. Geneva’s wardrobe also includes two hanging rails and an overhead shelf to store all your little’s one’s outfits and keepsakes.
Crafted for durability and longevity, Geneva nursery furniture features a natural oak finish with textured detailing and coordinating handles, creating a soothing, Scandi-inspired look that you’ll love for years to come.
How would you style Geneva?
As Geneva has a subtle warmth in its finish, I’d definitely make sure the décor followed a similar theme. Warm beiges or soft pinks would be the perfect backdrop for Geneva, with deeper colours like leafy greens or rusty oranges in the accessories. If you’re going for a coordinated wooden flooring, consider adding a comfortable textured rug for added cosiness in the room.
For your finishing touches, I love the Rosa & Blue for Silver Cross Cot Bed Starter Set in the Bunny print with Geneva – it has a soft ecru colour base with hand-drawn bunny illustrations on top.
What are your tips for maximising a smaller nursery space?
Geneva is perfect for smaller spaces, as you can tailor the furniture to suit your room – you can choose from 3 piece and 2 piece sets or add on furniture individually. The Geneva cot bed is also a great space saver thanks to its under-bed drawer – the perfect place for storing your little one’s bedding, sleepsuits and sleeping bags.
Position your furniture in the room strategically and make use of any alcoves for your drawers or wardrobe to create a seamless flow, rather than blocking doorways or windows.
To create the illusion of a larger space, use light and bright colours in your décor to reflect the light and make the room feel bigger. Mirrors are also a great way to create the feeling of more space, especially when placed opposite a window.
