Congratulations on your pregnancy! How are you feeling?

Thank you so much! Although I’ve had a rocky pregnancy in terms of sickness over the last 8 months, particularly in the early stages, it’s been such a special time and I’m just so excited to meet my baby girl.

How are you preparing for baby’s arrival?

It’s all felt very real this week preparing the baby’s room and seeing it all come together has felt amazing. I even finally got round to packing my hospital bag!

You’ve chosen the Silver Cross Seville furniture set. How have you styled your nursery alongside it?

I chose the Seville set as I wanted furniture that felt timeless and minimalistic, I also loved the fact it was neutral. I saw a wallpaper early on that my heart was set on. Although it’s a busy wallpaper, I knew this would complement the furniture perfectly.

Designing a nursery for the first time can be daunting with so many colour schemes and themes to choose from – any tips on where to start?

For me, it was slightly easier because I found out the gender quite early on. Above all, I knew I wanted a relaxing and calming space for the baby, and I was always set on soft pinks and neutrals. I would say stick to colours that create the environment that you want in the nursery. Once I chose the furniture, I really enjoyed picking out cute accessories too.

We love your sense of style. What have been the hardest working pieces in your wardrobe during your pregnancy?

Thank you, that’s so kind! I personally love oversized fits as it is, so I found myself just sizing up a bit more than usual. I’ve also embraced having my bump out over the summer in crop tops and two-piece sets. If anything, I steered away from materials that don’t have a lot of stretch like denim. I’m definitely in my ‘sweatpants are all that fit me right now’ era at 8 months pregnant.

Any tips for mums and mums-to-be who feel they’ve lost their sense of style during pregnancy and postpartum?

I think it’s important to not be hard on yourself as your body is forever changing. Choose comfort over anything.

What have been your go-to pregnancy essentials?

I’ve loved using natural body oils for my skin. My pregnancy pillow has been a must. And I have to say, disposable sick bags everywhere I go – as glamorous as that sounds! Day to day essentials have been my water flask and a handheld fan.

What are you most looking forward to about becoming a mum?

All the baby cuddles! Experiencing all her firsts, watching her grow. Seeing my partner become a dad and starting this new incredible chapter together.
